Who We Support
Each year, The Reach Foundation selects one organization to support. The purpose of this support is threefold:
- Financial Assistance – All of the net proceeds from our fundraising during the year will go directly to support this organization.
- Volunteers – Our members will volunteer their time.
- Exposure – Throughout the year, we will highlight the efforts of this group to our clients and entire database of supporters.
The Shepherd Community
This year, the Reach Foundation is supporting the Shepherd Community. Shepherd is a faith-based, non-profit organization established in 1985 with a simple but staggering goal: to break the cycle of poverty on the near east side of Indianapolis. Located centrally within the community it serves, Shepherd offers programs for children, teens, adults, and families, helping to meet their physical, emotional, academic, and spiritual needs.
This summer we will provide a back to school wardrobe to more than 60 disadvantaged kids from the Shepherd Community. On July 25th, these kids will have the opportunity to shop for their wardrobe at a local Target® store. We need to raise $9,000 to make this event a success!
Here’s how you can help:
- Make a Donation by clicking here. Any amount is helpful and a $200 donation will handle an entire wardrobe for a child!
- Volunteer to help the kids pick out their clothes.
